Job Opening: Seasonal Public Works Laborer

The Village of Twin Lakes, WI is currently seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our Public Works Department as a Seasonal Public Works Laborer for the summer of 2025. This temporary position offers an excellent opportunity to assist in maintaining and improving the Village’s public spaces during the busy summer months. Responsibilities include mowing and grounds maintenance at parks and other Village properties, seaweed removal from local lakes, and assisting with general public works tasks such as cleaning, maintenance, and repairs. The ideal candidate should be physically able to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and working in various weather conditions. Previous experience in landscaping, public works, or a related field is preferred but not required. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver’s license, and have the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

The position offers competitive pay ($19-$22/hr), based on experience, and provides the opportunity to operate various equipment related to lawn care and maintenance tasks. Position Summary

Responsibilities for this position include enforcing the laws and ordinances of the State of Wisconsin and the Village of Twin Lakes in a community- oriented policing environment.  Officers primarily focus on the maintenance of order, public protection and safety, day to day police services, and engagement with the community.

Salary

$31.22-$37.42/ hour-**Dependent on Qualifications

Responsibilities for this position include patrolling two recreational lakes within the Village of Twin Lakes, being the primary enforcement of the Chapter 30 WI Statues and local waterway ordinances, focusing on educating the public on water safety, and monitoring activity on the lakes.
