Sworn Position
Position Summary
Responsibilities for this position include enforcing the laws and ordinances of the State of Wisconsin and the Village of Twin Lakes in a community- oriented policing environment. Officers primarily focus on the maintenance of order, public protection and safety, day to day police services, and engagement with the community.
Salary
$31.22-$37.42/ hour-**Dependent on Qualifications

Qualifications

- Good verbal and written communications skills
- No domestic abuse or felony convictions

- U.S. Citizen
- Vision correctable to 20/20
- Minimum age of 21 years old
Must pass Background check, Drug Screening, Medical Exam, Oral Interviews, and Psychological Exam
Education and/or Experience
- High School Diploma
- 60 College Credits/ Associate’s Degree
Lateral Transfer Program-**Officer with experience can be hired at a higher rate of pay and greater amount of vacation time.

Dispatcher/ Telecommunicator -Part time
Position Summary
A Dispatcher is responsible for dispatching Police, Fire, and EMS to various incidents throughout the Village of Twin Lakes. They are responsible for answering emergency and non-emergency calls from the public. Multi-tasking and computer knowledge is vital. This position works shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Salary
$24.0875- $ 26.1375/ hour- **Dependent on Qualifications

- Clear and concise speech
- Valid driver’s license
- Good verbal and written communication skills

- Previous Dispatch experience-REQUIRED

- Minimum age of 18 years old

Education and/or Experience
- High School Diploma or GED
