Tax Payments
Property Tax Payments: Property owners must pay at least the first installment of their annual property tax bill to the Village of Twin Lakes by January 31. Payments will be accepted by the Village during the grace period from February 1 through 4:00 pm on February 7. Payments may also be placed in the drop box outside the main entrance to the Village Hall at 105 E Main Street. Please note that the drop box may occasionally be closed due to election laws. The second installment of property taxes is due to Kenosha County (payable to the Kenosha County Treasurer) by July 31.

METHODS OF PAYMENT:
The second installment of your taxes is paid directly to the Kenosha County Treasurer. The Village of Twin Lakes is unable to take this payment. If a payment is mistakenly made to the Village of Twin Lakes, it will be refunded to you within 7 to 10 business days, potentially resulting in late fees from the Kenosha County Treasurer. Kindly review your tax bill carefully to confirm that your payment is sent to the appropriate governmental entity.
